I LOVE GREAT DESIGN.
Sounds generic, I know... but it’s just that simple.
My name is Erin Kelly, I’m an interior designer in Connecticut and I have worked in the residential design/build method for almost 14 years. Before starting my studio EMK Interiors in 2015, I worked for 10 years at the design/build firm Michael Greenberg and Associates in Westport, CT. The majority of my work is in the Westport area but I have also completed projects throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, New York City and beyond.
I am a proud alumnus of the Interior Design School at SCAD, the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia, where I was exposed to…creation…in a vast and fruitful number of mediums. I learned how to be inspired and how to truly invent new ideas and perspectives.
Throughout my professional career, I’ve had the privilege of creating many spectacular interior spaces for clients. I specialize in custom millwork design, including kitchens, baths and other architectural detailing, as well as alluring finishes and furnishings in a multitude of modern styles.
My design approach is rooted in the acknowledgement that every design question has many potential answers, making it imperative to explore and discover what’s best for each individual client. I truly enjoy finding REAL solutions that not only solve my clients’ needs but give them what they didn’t even know they needed, all while creating a luxe backdrop that enhances the experiences in their everyday lives.
Great design should encourage and inspire the users to live better…it’s just that simple.
